Payment Terms

These Payment Terms are part of the Agreements described in our Terms of Service and govern how payments, fees, payouts, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks work on VETHUB. By buying or selling on VETHUB, you agree to these Payment Terms.

Fees

Vetlancers keep 100% of their mission listing price. VETHUB charges the client a single service fee on top of the listing price. That fee bundles our 10% platform service fee with payment processing costs (3.3% of the listing price plus $3.00). In practice it is currently 13.75% of the mission listing price plus $3.00, shown to the client at checkout as a single “Service Fee.”

Paying for an Order

Clients pay VETHUB to open an Order. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Funds are held and released to the vetlancer after the Order is complete, as described in the Terms of Service, so that clients pay for work they have received.

Hourly Billing

For hourly contracts, work is billed weekly based on the hours the vetlancer reports. Hours must be reported by Sunday 23:59 UTC to be billed for that week, and each weekly charge is finalized if it is not disputed within 72 hours after it is charged. Hourly contracts otherwise follow the same payment, hold, and payout rules described here and in the Terms of Service.

Milestones

For milestone projects, each milestone is funded, delivered, and accepted before the next begins, as described in the Terms of Service. Each milestone is paid and released on the same basis as any other Order.

Payouts to Vetlancers

To receive payouts, a vetlancer must connect a payout account with our payment provider and complete its verification. Once that account has been validated (which takes about 7 days), we handle our side of the transaction immediately when a mission or request is completed. The payment is then processed and reaches you as soon as our payment provider and your bank allow.

Taxes

You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and paying any taxes that apply to your use of VETHUB and to the income you earn or payments you make through it. VETHUB does not provide tax advice.

Refunds and Cancellations

If something goes wrong with an Order, first try to resolve it directly with the other party. If you cannot, contact us at support@vethub.us and we will help work toward a resolution. Whether a refund is available, and how a cancellation affects funds that are being held, depends on the status of the Order and the circumstances. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Chargebacks

If you have a payment concern, please contact support@vethub.us before disputing a charge with your bank, so we can help resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback instead of working with us may result in a hold on your account while the dispute is reviewed.

Currency

Payments on VETHUB are processed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Changes to These Payment Terms

We may update these Payment Terms from time to time. When we post an updated version, it applies to your continued use of VETHUB. Questions? Contact us at support@vethub.us.
